    Loved the walk out of Leon early in the morning. If you go in the dark it is all part of the excitement. Suggest to pre walk round the tapas and Morcilla bars, much more fun.

    O Cebreiro - Linares alternative route

    Walked the higher route and it is very easy walking up through a forest with good views. The last 1.5km is on the road down in to Linares.

    We have used a number of options for accomodation. Booking, phoning directly( as long as your Spanish is passable), airbnb and just looking at the village you are going on google maps. In larger towns deff look at apartments as if there are 2 or more of you it often wirks out cheaper than...

    Stayed there 4 days ago, small shop open all day. One bar which offers limited menu for 10€, other seemed busier.
