The fastest I can walk, without gear and without starting to run, is only 6,8km/h (and not longer then an hour)
We once were late at the only refugio around. There was no more place for us. We were advised to walk another 7 km to the next refugio (that by then also would have been full)
But...
With the right "Donativo" we were offered a quiet place in the kitchen :):):)
Being a pilgrim or not has nothing to do with the kilometers/ miles you walk in a period, but has everything to do with how you feel yourself deep inside...
In other words, without knowing you I am pretty sure you are more pilgrim than those who think they are more pilgrim than you because they...
The one that drains your phone in a second. Try to enjoy the walk the old fashion way!
Switch of the electronic "connection" with the world...
Yhere is no need for any apps or GPS's or other modern stuff. Of course, in the evening you can switch on your cellphone to see how your "left behinds"...
Wether you trained enough or not... who cares.
There is only one thing you can do when you get kicked out of the refugio in the morning.
Excactly, the only thing to do is walk untill the next refugio opens somewhere in the afternoon... :-)
