I also saw a multimedia presentation in a church in Castrojeriz. It was a history of pilgrims and the Camino. The church had a beautiful ceiling for the MilkyWay presentation. I think the ethnography institute did several of these over numerous towns.
Absolutely not worry others! I have plenty of time and now a trip to Barcelona is on my itinerary. I still would love to see that lost passport but if not it's okay.
According to the US Embassy website, if you have lost passport you need a face to face appointment. Fortunately I have some wiggle room since my flight back is on the 15th November.
I lost my US passport between Uterga and Puente la Reina on Tuesday Sept 12 or 13th. The albergue helped me contact the Guardia Civil which then provided me with necessary documentation to continue. Please keep your eyes open and if found turn into the Guardia. They have all my information...
