We did it in two days from SJPP. Walking along the road for a couple of stretches was treacherous. I mean treacherous. In my humble opinion and where I to do it again I would take a day glow bandanna or something. Some bright non-natural color to attach to my walking stick and pack to wave at...

I'm taking my family ages 16, 16, 14 & 14 (crazy dad) on the Camino Summer 2020 starting in mid June. Is 40 days enough to get to Santiago starting in SJPP without walking them into the ground?
I'm looking to create an opportunity for them to have a life changing grit building experience.
We are planning to complete the French Way starting in St Jean. Is it ok to mix walking and biking assuming you start that far off? I intend we'll walk most of it especially the last 100k, but figured biking would be a way of mixing it up a bit.

Great question. My wife and I just finished our 1st 100K Camino starting in Sarria. We went with Walk the Camino and they were GREAT!!! Now that we've done one, I would feel comfortable making my own arrangements. My wife (~40s) was not going to stay in Albergues, there's nothing wrong...
