Backpacks… Do I try overhead or as checked luggage?
I use a pack liner on the outside for travel ( protect the straps etc) it weighs 100 g and once there, I put it inside and that becomes my liner offering protection from the wet. On my Camino Frances I photocopied ( 2 to a page and 2 sided) brierley map book. I then threw out the pages as I went. walking with flip flops and short sleeves?
On my Camino Frances walk in 2010 we saw plenty of socks and crocs. A bad look and not at all good for support . However their heels were free from rubbing boots.- Seymoursmum
