    I walked at that time of year last year. There are enough open places. It snowed one day. A down best is light and warm along with icebreaker long underwater. It is quite beautiful! Susan

    Good to take a break. 17 miles is more for the young! Try 12 to 15max when on the Camino, as you will be less inclined to have injuries.

    Reading this made me wonder if anyone would know of anyone older than 93 to have completed the entire distance. Either way congrats to her. (I could only hope to be standing upright at 93). LOL !!!!!

    Why do it Again?

    I also have done several Caminos, 12, with 6from Pamplona to Santiago. It has been interesting to watch the development of Northern Spain and the economic changes, but I am going to branch out to France and Italy and do shorter sections. The Camino is a great journey, however one does it! Susu60
