The advice to carry an umbrella, mainly for protection against the sun, is very sound. If you can get one with an extra long stem so that you can attach it to your rucksack chest and waist straps, even better. EuroShirm is one of a few companies that make such an umbrella.

Good day, Handler! I would say that your proposed target is fine for someone who is reasonably fit, as you clearly are. My only reservation would be that there are many wonderful places en route, where many of us are tempted to linger for a while. Some flexibility is advisable. Buen Camino! Tom
I carried a sleeping bag only for a January/February Camino. A silk liner is certainly fine from April to October unless you are particularly sensitive to the occasional cooler night. Tom
There was a piano in the pilgrim albergue at Barbadelo (just after Sarria) four years ago, but dreadfully out of tune even then. Unless it has been tuned since, I would think it unplayable by now! Tom

I walked the Camino Francés from early January to February a couple of years ago without any problems. As a rule, only the municipal and church albergues are open, and they generally have little in the way of heat, so you need a good sleeping bag and perhaps a tracksuit or something...
