I would seriously consider starting in Pamplona. There are a lot more options after Pamplona if you are willing to go off Brierly stages and look at all options, casa rural, pensions etc.
Maybe there are other places open for breakfast can’t remember, but for me, I wish I’d had more and had snacks with me as there was little on the trail that day.
I’d take breakfast for sure because there is little food to Zuburi. I remember being so hungry and needing food. There are other restaurants for dinner in Roncesvalles.
I walked the Frances starting in early April-May. I was glad for my long sleeve merino wool, my merino wool thin icebreaker vest and my Packable down jacket. I wore each one everyday, especially in the morning and in the evenings.

I didn’t see anything like this except one place that was being developed for this very thing. It was like a giant fairy garden. The young man had a library setup, chairs, hammocks and a food stand. I can’t remember where it was except it was near Pamplona. Does anyone know?
