    There's a graph on the APOTC FB group that says that numbers leaving SJPP are up 9% on 2019. I'll try to post a photo here. It's hardly a massive increase.

    If I was you I would start in Pamplona or even Logrono. That would give you enough time to walk to Santiago without having to worry about having to hit a certain number of km every day. The itinerary you described strikes me as extremely optimistic for a person who isn't used to hiking...
