    this works for me every time i cross the hemispheres: treat the flight like a big night out, a dawn breaker even. watch movies on the plane one after another, non stop. dbl bonus: you get to see loads of good flicks plus! at arrivals, you are totally zonked, & when you hit the sack you sleep...
