Two Stamps for the last 100 kms

I read that the way you can get 2 stamps a day is to get a stamp when you arrive at an albergue and then another one from the same place the morning you leave. Is this correct. I have a couple of other questions about the passport. Can you get a stamp in the city you arrive in, like Sevilla but...

Carry On Luggage Bad News for Flyers

@Kanga thanks. I'm going to be in Seville for 2 nights so if my backpack gets lost I might get it while I'm there. If it takes longer, ill just stay in Seville longer. It's a hardship but I'd make the sacrifice. Wink, wink.

Carry On Luggage Bad News for Flyers

I'm rethinking my decision to carry on my backpack. Some have mentioned a laundry bag to carry your backpack and poles. Could someone who does this give more details. How do secure the bag to make sure your poles don't fall out and get lost. I thought the baggage handlers need something to hold...

My single most important mistake, repeated on all my 5 Caminos

Sauntering-- I love that word. I'll try to remember it when I am on Vdlp. If I don't make it all the way to Santiago, it'll be a good excuse to come back.

Please help my girly soft feet man up

I've had some luck with Engo patches when I was developing a blister on the bottom of my foot next to the ball of the foot. Place the patch on the insole not on your feet. They're slick so they reduce the friction beneath your foot so they decrease the shearing forces that cause the blisters...

    Morning Walking

Couldn't you check at least how to get out of town in the afternoon as preparation for the next day? I'm a slow walker and having fewer daylight hours in October are a concern.

    Shoes, Sandals and ?

I've got 2 pairs of sandals, Teva tirra and Keen Rose, that I'm considering but I've got to wear socks with them if I want to wear them for any length of time. Both of them have rubber like insoles and sweating in them is a problem unless there's a way of absorbing the sweat away from my feet...
