Wishing you a great Camino. With regards Roncesvalles, I must say that having been there in 2018, I found everything about it very good, especially the volunteers.
Thank you for a very useful update, from your comment it seems little has changed since I walked the C. F. In October of last year. I am hoping to walk the Portugese Camino in late September. Buen Camino.
Good to hear from you, I loved Burgos. You go into the Meseta soon, it is a tough stage, especially in the present heat. It is a tough stage but I met fantastic people on this part. Leave early in the mornings with the heat, Buen Camino
Here I am at Santiago de Compostella awaiting my plane for home. It has been a wonderful and unique experience.Reflecting here as I wait for flight I am very greatful firstly for the health to have been able to do the camino but also to the people who encouraged me and helped in practable ways...
It took me just a bit over an hour as it was dark but I had small torch. The path goes through the woods another by road.I took the woods one as shorter, after a bit I was getting worried as I was finding it so so tough, then I realised I still had mask on since the bus :) then dogs started barking...

I didnt weigh myself before I started walking but as I am reading this in my bed in O Pedrouzo on the camino,I got out of bed to look at myself in the mirror and my stomach looks very larger than when I started:eek:
I am almost in Santiago,I am using Gonge.com I have found it very up to date and accurate, its in spanish but if you open it in Chrome it converts to english, buen camino

Thank you ,I am at Arzúa about 38 km from Santiago,I will definatly listen to it but not now as I would awake my fellow pilgrims and I dont think they would be happy:)
About a 30 km hike today from Palas de Ris through beautiful Gallician country with a good amount of bars open to cater for the lesser number of perigringos. I would guess maybe about 80 walkers I saw today, about 50% Spanish and the rest europeans. I think in covid times that there is an extra...
