    Digital Brierley Guide?

    I found that NOT having a smartphone is a blessing on a Camino. It gave me more time to meditate and interact with other pilgrims. The weight of a Brierly guide is not significant and I need not worry about a flat battery!

    The 55 x 35 x 25 cm equates to 48litres. Just make sure that your backpack when loaded fits in the box at check in. Obviously you also have to have a pack that is comfortable to wear!

    Altitude adjustment

    Everyone is affected differently by altitude. I am affected at 2000m but not noticeably at 1000m. I suspect that you will not have any serious problems going through the Pyrenees because of the altitude. Just take it steadily..
