    Hallo! Walked Porto to Santiago in 9 days in early may 2015. Weather was fantastic! Just enough pilgrims for me. Some albergues open but i mostly stayed in b&b's and a hotel or two. Plenty along the way....met a pilgrim that started in Lisbon that said Lisbon to Porto plenty of tarred road...

    I had pastries for breakfast and lunch and in between!!! Was delicious!! Thanks for interesting read!! When returning to my home town i contacted the portuguese community and found a baker of pastei de nata just to have real ones at home too

    Hallo! Exciting times ahead for you!! Did the CP from Porto to Santiago in May 2015. Absolutely awesome!! Walked alone (and met wonderful pilgrims on the Way). Never felt unsafe. Brierley, butterflies and birds were my guides...Buen Camino!!
