I also missed the noon pilgrim mass because there was a huge snaking line throughout the square. It was a Sunday so that could have had something to do with it. I stayed in the line as there was a regular Mass at 1 pm which I really enjoyed and came back later for the evening mass. Both were...- Laluna

I also wanted to say that I agree with the suggestion to stay outside of the major centres or the suggested stops for each stage. I did this the last few days on the Camino and I found it worked very well for me. I stayed in smaller towns and found the albergues and the trails much less crowded...- Laluna
