Who knows what the situation will be like. Portugal is suffering the worst at yhe moment. Everyone thought spring this year (2021) would be fine for camino-ing. And it really won't. Theres also the worry with different variants. Let's just hope it wont be too long.
I left a donativo hostel this am. There were 12 of us. There was 16 euros in the donativo box which meant only 2 or 3 paid.
I have met the other pilgrims along the way, and they can all afford something.

Does anyone have any information about the impact of forest fires and fires an the Camino?
I start from Lisbon on 25th July and then when I get to porto walk up the coast to SdC
Is this possible?
To do this route and stay in albergue and get stamps?
If I am Santiago and want to do this I would rather walk from there to Lisbon rather than take a plane to Lisbon from Santiago so I can walk in the "right way.
I do not need a compostela.
