Lodging in Teo, Spain
I stayed at the municipal albergue in 2016. it was clean and neat. I remember 2 restaurants not to fr from the albergue. It is a fairly short walk into Santiago. I arrived in time for the Pilgrims' Mass.- Steve900Hiker

Staying at Teo? Suggestion - visit Pazo do Faramello
In 2016 I stayed at the municipal albergue and walked around the manor house. i recall two restaurant/bars in walkable distance from the albergue. From Two it was a nice short walk to Santiago the next morning.- Steve900Hiker

Enjoy a day in Porto
Another place I enjoyed twice was the Cafe Majestic. Very good food and friendly and helpful staff. I ate there before I started the Central Route and after two weeks, I was remembered when I ate there again.- Steve900Hiker

Best way out of Porto for the central route

Barcelos to Ponte de Lima - 34.7 km
I stayed in the albergue in Tamel - Sao Pedro Fins (p. 137 in the Brierley guide). From there it was 24.2 km to Ponte de Lima.- Steve900Hiker
