I am returning this year for 2 weeks in August to walk sections I skipped last year. I won’t be able to walk all of them but that will be a good reason to return again. Starting in Estella to Burgos then try to get transportation to Castrojeriz so I can walk to Formista. Well that’s my plan.
My husband and I are starting the Camino in Pamplona in August and are allowing 6 weeks to complete it. We are both retired and have the time and I hope energy for this pilgrimage. This a totally new type of adventure for us so we're nervous! But I always get encouragement reading things on this...
I don't want to start a new thread so I'll add to this one. We are going in August and want to know if we will need sleeping bags in addition to sleeping bag liners. What's the coldest it gets at night? Let me know if I should have started anew question.
I'm planning my first Camino in August-Sept 2017. My husband who had two knee replacements is a little concerned. I thought about starting alone in Pamplona and having him join me in Leon. Any advice? We are fit for our ages.
