Hi Sarah... I did the Camino from Leon to SdC last year....what drew me? Multiple factors but I became totally obsessed once I starting reading this forum and watching a couple of movies. Hi Sarah.. fellow kiwi here and I see there have been a lot of reponses to your post! Thats great! I wanted to do the Camino for my 60th so took myself over to Spain this time last year and walked from Leon to SdC. I intended to walk alone... but as they say you meet all sorts which is fab...- Barney12

Thanks so much Felipe.. yes downhill is the issue.. I usually try and zigzag for this and use my poles which seems to take the pressure off the knee. New knee in the future but am determined to do SOME of the CF before surgery!! :)- Barney12

Hi guys.. just wanted to say hello and ask....Im hopefully going from Leon to Santiago next April/May. Not sure about how it will go as my knee isnt great at the moment but am working on just getting fit by walking walking walking.
