    Choosing a route for my first Camino

    I did their Coastal route on the Portuguese and it will answer all your needs, not crowded, plenty of accommodation good food, less expensive than the Frances and very much doable in 10-12 days. I did it in May and great weather. No problem being alone or in a crowd. Buon Caminho

    As a 70 year old who walked the Camino Portuguese in May I found it quite doable and not stressful. Consider the Porto coastal route, walk along the beach on the boardwalk and enjoy the many great accommodations available. Just right for your Dad!!
