Rebecca, I'm staying at Hotel Paris Madrid on Oct. 6th... right next to the train station in Bayonne. It looks like its easy to catch a bus from the Biaritz airport as it is only 5km away to Bayonne. The other hotel I looked at was called Hotel la Marine in Biaritz. The pics online look nice...- JodyB

Setting out from London on October 1
If you end up on the Camino Frances again, I will probably run into you. I am walking alone and am not terribly athletic. Just think...the refugios will still be open mainly and not as many people. I imagine that it will be a different experience from the first time that you walked.- JodyB

Be Careful! You wouldn't want anything to ruin your trip. I just purchased some Travel Insurance yesterday. It was kind of expensive because of the length of the trip. Que gran adventura! I'm 38 yo female from Seatte, WA leaving this year in Oct and going solo as well. Its nice to see a local posting on here. I'm really enjoying my practice walks around the city in Seattle. Its great to know a city so well that you never really get lost. Jody- JodyB
