I'll be arriving in Lisbon at 10:15 on Sept 13. I'll take the local bus directly to Parque das Nações and start walking at about noon. I plan to include a bypass trek to Fatima along the way.

I did SJPP to Santiago solo 2 years ago. Now, she wants to share a bit of the experience. And, I can hardly wait to return! Are there any forum members whose paths might cross ours?

I'm a teacher, too. I'll be leaving Portland on the 17th -- just a few steps ahead of you. I think I've collected everything I'll need, and I've been "training," but I'm still apprehensive about that climb out of SJPdP on the first day.
