I was a older women traveling , I had a waist pack that never left my waist unless I was in the showere and then it hung next to me always in my site. It as an issue I didn’t want to deal with. my motto trust but be smart. In waist pack was my passport cards and cash.- catperson

Do any albergues still lock people in?
I recently read in a book that pilgrims are locked in , was a bit surprised ( and a little panicky) and wonder if this is the truth. I cant imagine from a public health concern this would be allowed. Will await posts from others- catperson
