I agree with Pieces, across town by train will be more reliable. Monday morning after the holiday on the M25 could be bad, though it may not be. Personally I'd consider booking the Tuesday flight while it is £69 which it probably won't be if you have to book it on Monday. Good luck.

Not sure if they've done this before but Flybe will be flying from Southampton airport to Pau starting on 25th May 2011. I believe Pau is about 3 hours from SJ Pied de Port by train.

Personally I wouldn't risk it, although in theory it can be done in that amount of time. The distance between the 2 airports by road is about 100 miles around London and the traffic is very unpredictable, as are trains.

Sorry, forgot to add I think the price will be between £10 - £20. I haven't been on this train for a while so I'm not sure of the exact price. The return should take the same amount of time but travel times very much depend on the time of day and which day.
