Madrid Hotel Recommendations
We stayed here in 2018. Nice accommodations. Our nephew’s partner’s parents stay here when visiting Madrid. Just be aware of pickpockets; lost 20€, and my nephew’s friend lost over $200 in the touristy areas of Madrid.- Hugh Larkin

UK to Portugal Ferry Route?
In 2013, we did an overnight ship crossing from Lisbon to Le Havre across the outer reaches of the Bay of Biscay/"edge" of the Atlantic. That was the worst night I have ever experienced.
