Fair enough, but if that's the case that's hardly intuitive for passengers booking. It's not reasonable to expect them to already be aware that there is only one airport that accepts passengers in Madrid and therefore they don't bother with the airport code. I think this is the first airline in...
As I mentioned, I'm using their website, not the app. The website shows the city pairs, not the airport codes. It is what it is, I'm not being paid to disparage Ryanair or anything.
The screenshot you sent was from Google, not Ryanair. Look closer.
Here's what you see on the Ryanair site. No airport code. This is the second screen. The first only lists the city as well. All the screens at least up until you provide your credit card only lists "Madrid".
Thanks. Google is smart enough to use the three-letter airport code. Ryanair spells out the city name. Perhaps further into the booking process it would display the airport code, but not initially.
Can someone please confirm that if you fly with Ryanair from SDC to Madrid, that you will arrive at the Madrid-Barajas International airport?
Such a simple question, yet incredibly frustrating trying to confirm the answer. Ryanair, in its infinite wisdom, doesn't include the name of the airport...
Apologies for such a basic question, but can someone confirm the best way to get to Madrid airport from SDC by train.
More specifically, can I book the entire route via Trainline? At first glance it seemed like I could only book to Madrid city, but perhaps I simply need to book the Madrid -->...
My flight home from Madrid is at 6am. It's an international flight, so presumably should be there 3 hours prior, which means 3am.
For anyone that has been stuck with an early departure time from Madrid, how did you deal with it? Did you have a room booked for that night and check out at 2:30am...
As someone that has worked in the travel industry for 3 decades I can conclusively say that the notion of using an incognito browser to get better/different fares is 100% an urban myth. And like all urban myths it's difficult to stop people from believing it.
As for best days to book or best...
It's your flight home from Santiago that is pushing up the price, probably significantly.
After endless hours of research this past spring, I found that the absolute cheapest routing from Vancouver (so west coast, might be different from Chicago) was to fly to Paris, then fly to Biarritz. To...
For what it's worth, the bus ride is on major highways and isn't twisty/turny. And the buses are nice and modern (although I didn't have the promised wifi on my Alsa bus). And they have a bathroom.
I've been searching out different options for getting to Seville in January, and wondering how people tend to get there. Flights from here to Seville are quite expensive. Flights to Madrid seem to be the cheapest, so perhaps flying to Madrid and then a train from Madrid to Seville?
After much...
Or rather, is there more than one bus station in Santiago for inter-city buses? Google Maps shows a bus/train station about 1.5km from the historic area of the city. Is that the one and only place to go? I’ll be taking the bus to Porto on Monday and wondering where I’ll depart from. If anyone...
