Travel from Canada to Porto
a lot of flights have a stop over in Madrid - so you might build a side trip around that. Could city hop by train to or from your destination. I found less expensive international flights from the U. S. to Ireland - so flew there and enjoyed a side trip - then an inexpensive Ryan Air flight...- PNeer

Ride Share Offer from Pamplona to SJPP on May 1, 2022
I arrived in Pamplona, rechecked my options for getting to SJPP, looked at my Brierly and thought "why not start in Pamplona" and I did. Dropping than tiny distance in no way diminished my Camino. And spending some time in Pamplona was great- PNeer
