Backpacks and poles = check or carry on?
Hi everyone, I strapped my poles to my pack and had it shrink wrapped and checked in. If it was lighter I could have carried it onboard. Flew from Melbourne to Paris (n0 US) The wrapping stopped anyone from getting into it and made it a tighter item, no flaps to get caught on luggage carousel...- Susanna

Getting to St Pied de Port
Hi There, Just make sure that you spell the town correctly I nearly got a train ticket to another town as there is more than one St Jean. There are about 4 trains a day to bayonne then on to St Jean de Pied. Good luck Susanna- Susanna
