Sábado:

a few years ago I took a bus to A Coruna, from there to Santander and then to Bilbao, not via Santiago. I stayed over in Santander, my credencial gave me access to the albergue there. It was a really nice trip!

I thought I share this with you; just booked a ticket from London Stanstead to Valladolid for £10 incl tax with Ryanair. From Valladolid you can get to Leon, Astorga or Burgos really easy (direct bus from the airport), or in my case to Fromista (by train). I think it's one of the lesser known...

Please be aware that there is no public transport at Pau airport, the only way to get to the station is by Taxi, which was around 20 Euros, and took about 30 minutes (depending on traffic).

and from Zurich to London with Swiss http://www.swiss.com or BA http://www.ba.com.

Last year I was flying with Iberia, stopover in Madrid. I booked well in advance, and paid around CHFr 250.- return. Iberia is also offering flights with stopover in Barcelona.
