Help with route Aviles to Soto de Luiña
We are on our way and have taken a days respite halfway through our planned trip. We are very unclear about the route forward to Soto de Luiña - gronze.com, our english guide book, our online map and another Spanish site list quite a few variables. Our (2 peregrinos) first overnight stage of the camino is in Castro Urdiales at the start of next week... It'd be great to have an update on the accommodation status in the albuerge there.- Aaronloughrey

LIVE from the Camino Currently in Portugalete on the Northern Camino.
We start our northern route on monday from bilbao and have decided to follow the north coast for as long as we can moving inland from Ribadeo. We think it will be nicer to follow the coast and also there will be less pilgrims on that route although for some unknown reason Baamonde seems to be...- Aaronloughrey

Thanks - there's no point sweating the small stuff eh? :D I simply went for quick dry type with wicking. Typical worries are - what happens if there's no room at the hostel... what about bed bugs... is it safe to leave stuff at the hostel and go for a swim...
