    Alex, Amazing how this route can differ from one season to another. I almost died of a heat stroke (45 degrees) after walking from Caceres to Ambalse de Alcantara in September two years ago. Bad memories! Enjoy the rest of your walk and may the nice weather be with you. Cheers, Jean-Marc
