    Yes nothing that day but one or two covered seating areas. My diary also shows nowhere open between El Cubo de Vino and Zamora. Not sure about fountains I walked in February and water was not an issue.

    I have walked the route this year, I actually had my dinner in Hostel Frances there should be plenty of pilgrims around. At dinner if you have it in Hostel Frances there will probably be pilgrim from the Municipal Albergue eating there, you could arrange to team up with them in the morning...

    Great to read you detailed accounts, the numbers are surprising me, but am delighted for all the different business along the way that need the extra traffic. Basically from now on you you have much longer walking days, I did the entire journey 2013 in 32 days.
