If you are using booking dot com, you might give the Casa a call. Many accomodations may have rooms that aren't listed.

Compostela requirements, pre Camino Ingles in UK

I walked 25K in the US, getting stamps from Post Offices and Libraries. It wasn't any sort of recognized route, just town to town. I then brought my stamped Credencial, a letter from a local priest, and a map with distances marked on it. Walked from La Coruna to Santiago, getting two stamps a...

    stop halfway Betanzos to Bruma

Costa da Egoa is one of my favorite Casa Rurales. It isn't on the Camino Ingles but is easy to taxi back and forth.

Has anyone started the Ingles route in your own country?

Yes, I did this in 2019. I had a local priest write a letter on church letterhead, verifying my starting point. I had local post offices and libraries stamp and date my credencial for 25k, and also printed a map out with my local mileage in both kilometers and miles. Then I continued getting two...

    Accommodation Presedo

Depending on your budget - Costa Da Egoa is lovely. They may be able to pick you up at Meson Museo or arrange a taxi to and from the Camino.

Inglés: Coruña or Ferrol? No compostela needed

I found my second day out of A Coruna to be my hardest day of all my Caminos. I do have asthma which is a factor, so I just go slow and zigzag. https://www.pilgrim.es/en/english-way/

I didn't walk the whole Camino Ingles....

Postscript: I went back 6 months later (2019) with one of my original companions and did the Ingles from La Coruna (after completing 25K at home). Day 2 had a really long climb but we did it and safely and jubilantly made it to Santiago a few days later. Further Camino plans got altered by...

Camino Ingles, sketches, paintings and photos, April 2022

This was my third time walking the Ingles (twice from Ferrol, once from Coruna). This trip was with my 74 year old Aunt who was intrepid. Pentalic accordion fold sketchbook, 4" x 6", watercolor, ink, colored pencil, pencil, paint markers, metallic watercolor. More photos and sketches here (I...

    Accommodations on the camino ingles

Take a taxi (or see if the hosts can provide a ride) to the casa rurale, Costa De Egoa. Then taxi back to your end point the next day.

    Betanzos to Hospital de Bruma

Try Costa de Egoa, a lovely casa rural. It is off the camino a bit but they may be able to pick you up. They have a child so they may have a car seat, too.

    A Coruna compostela question

I had a local priest write a letter for my travel companion and I, based on the sample text for a Pilgrim's recommendation letter in Sybille Yate's book Pilgrim Tips and Packing List. We also brought maps that showed the mileage (kilometerage?) we had walked in the US. We first got stamps/cellos...

I didn't walk the whole Camino Ingles....

Finished sketches, accordion fold watercolor book (Pentalic Dreamcatcher), 4" x 6", watercolor, Micron pen, watersoluble pencil, opaque markers, ball point pen (after I lost my brush and wore the Micron out!) Kindly ignore any spelling errors and wonky calligraphy. There is a slight pinkish cast...

I have two more panels to finish up before I scan the whole sketchbook.

I didn't walk the whole Camino Ingles....

I am trying something new for me - I ordered an Expand A Lung device from Amazon. I think I would also check with my physician before my next Camino to see if I need to adjust my medicines at all to help with the breathing. And climb more stairs and hills at home!
