How long is the Meseta?
If you have to trim a week off the Camino from St Jean to Santiago ... make it the meseta (hop onto a train). The meseta has it's good parts, but sections of walking beside a busy highway for hours are Not for me.- Teddie

Camino frances vs camino norte
6-7 was an immediate flash to mind. Did same month of October, rains are more steady, dogs are loose and bark authority, quiet paths and roads, not sure luggage transport is viable.- Teddie
