Groups form everywhere there are people on their own. I'd go a bit further to say that it's more likely to happen if people do have a shared goal and are nervous of their surroundings or far outside their comfort zone
Watching or hearing about others caminos is just the edited highlights. As others have said, quite rightly IMHO ...go with very little expectations.. no hype, no pre conceived ideas etc.
Far better to live it for a while.

Although I am a fast walker and would if I needed to.... start and attempt the lot from St Jean but i like the thinking about Burgos and then If you find you have spare days you could walk to Finisterre or Muxia too
While it's a little too late for the conversation that should already have taken place. I do wish you good luck with all sincerity. Sometimes cruel to be kind is needed but many of us have been in similar circumstances and it's easier from the outside looking in.
