    Slightly differs opinion here, and my sleeping bag packs as small as the liner, only 300g difference, and as you say I can just tumble dry it to kill any bed bugs. I could do that in Santiago before flying back, chuck everything including my back pack in the machine, and give it the treatment

    Hello new here :) I get free toothpaste samples when I visit my Dentist, which are little tubes that will last a couple of weeks, they will if they have any happily give you a handful. Free is good.
