Altra Olympus 5 Hike Mid GTX - follow up.

I started walking with a new pair of Altra Olympus June 3 from Madrid. They stated falling apart after days. I am now on my 22 day heading down Camino Frances. The inside lining on the heel is now worn through. I think I just bought a bad pair.

    Phones and the Frances

I’m thinking about giving HOLAFLY a try. HOLAFLY.com. No phone number but it has cellular data and you can keep your original phone number and use WhatsApp. I tested it in the USA last week, unlimited cellular data for 5 days, $19. It worked like a charm. Several data options available.

I used a 40 and had no problems at all. As long as you’re not camping you should be fine. My rule of thumb is this, the bigger the pack the more you put in it, the heavier it will be, the more you will end up sending stuff back. ✌️😊

Collapsible (Nacatin) walking poles - DIY help request

Good call getting the 3 section collapsible poles. I have never had any problems getting through TSA with my Black Diamond Z Poles. As a last resort, if you can’t get yours fixed, you might give the black diamonds a try. Black Diamond Distance Z Z Poles for Trekking, Trailrunning, Hiking...

Several of these items you may need, but you could always purchase on the way, no need to pack.
