I use "Powerstep Pinnacle Plus Full Length Orthotic Shoe Inserts - Built-In Metatarsal Support" in all of my shoes and carry an extra set with me. I get them through Amazon. This gets me through an 800-1000 mile camino over a two month period.
I have been very happy with mine and mostly carry it in my front right pocket. I use the spare battery and charger as well as extra memory cards. I also have an add on grip that I love. I carried a travel tripod for a couple thousand miles and never use it though I use one frequently with my...
I have the standard twist lock carbon fiber Pacer Poles and love them. I always use the rubber tips on all terrain and have thousands of miles on the poles with no issues. If I lost or damaged them I would buy the same ones immediately without question.
Good luck with your decision.
Mike

Green, on the dark side if possible. Next any other subdued color. Last choice would be any bright or fluorescent color with red, orange, and blue being the most offensive for me to wear. They may work for some people but...

My Osprey pack has a mesh type pocket that is outside of the main part of the pack. My patch is sewn on to this outer pocked so it does not compromise the integrity of the pack. Maybe yours is similar?
Annie,
That is a beautiful pack now that you have decorated it properly. I'm so glad you decided to walk again, I couldn't believe it when you said you were done walking.
Buen Camino!
Depending on your luck and the length of your Camino one extra pair may not be enough. The branded rubber tips that came with my poles seem to be very long wearing. I have never worn through one. I have lost them when the tip became wedged between rocks or the pole went down a hole and came back...
