At age 80 I fly from Colorado in two weeks to do my 4th Camino. Bought a cheep (US $18), lightweight, simple pack to use for 6 weeks. 12.2 pounds, plus water. Keeping it simple
After the day’s walk, I went into the shower fully clothed. Washed everything, put on the next day’s gear—good to go. Repeat for 32 days. That’s how I kept my pack to less than 15 pounds.
I started from SJPP the first week of April last year. I ran into snow two days about half way through. Your packing list looks similar to what I had. Durning the snow days I had on all my layers. I’ve tried to add a photo my climb to Cruz de Fierro, showing 2-3 inches.
