    Skirts and wool leggings

You will love your Packa! I wore rain jacket and rain pants on my first Camino and hated every second while wearing them. Too hot for me! I wore a Packa on my second Camino and didn't mind the rainy days at all.

    The Packa

I bought a Packa for my Camino Portugues in 2017. I loved it. It was easy to put on, I put it over my backpack on days when rain was expected. Between showers, I pulled my arms out of the sleeves and through the pit zip openings. This allowed me to stay comfortable yet was still easy to put back...

Has anyone else have the lining material of their Hokas disintegrate?

I would contact Hoka and not the store where you purchased them.

Equipment for Chubby Girls (perhaps an ongoing guide)

I'm overweight and I work out. I buy my workout clothes at JC Penneys. I usually buy the tights style bottoms in a size larger than I actually wear because I prefer them not to be skin tight. You'll do fine, just do it at your own speed.

    Ideal walking pants/trousers

Adding elastic to the back of the drawstring makes it more comfortable. The elastic allows some give at the waist.

    Plus size lightweight clothing Women's

I'm not sure where you live, but you might take a look online at L L Bean. I have never purchased anything from them, but I know they carry plus sizes. It's hard to shop at sporting good stores because, of course, athletic people are not heavy! Yeah, right! Even if you find something in an...

    Toe Socks

I always got it whenever I wore wool socks. I have since switched to Injinji socks and have not had the problem at all.

    Do I need more stuff...?

I would purchase a larger pack (larger than 18L) simply because if you are ever able to walk more than 4 days, you will need a little more room. Unless, of course, money is no object and you plan to buy a new pack each time you walk. Also, pay attention to the weight of the pack. Sometimes...

I will need new shoes before Santiago - they need to be extra wide = 6E

I would not ship anything to Spain before you leave home. The woman I walked with shipped a box from Calif. to Spain the day before she left. It arrived, or so she was told, but she never got it. Packages must clear customs and can take a month or longer. Her box contained her sleeping bag...

    Pack Size/Model Survey

Osprey Aura 50L, has more room than I need, but fits me better than anything else I have tried.

osprey aura 50 vs osprey sirrus 36

I am taking the Osprey Aura 50L. It might be big, but I don't plan to fill it. I bought it because of the air suspension back and because of all the packs I tried on, the Aura fit like a glove. Finally, a pack made for me!
