I walked two Caminos - the Frances and the Portugues. I wore regular socks walking the Frances and had many, many blisters. On the Portugues, I wore Injinji toe socks and another sock over them and got no blisters. I would highly recommend the toe socks.
I haven't worn this on a Camino yet but I have worn it to work out or even all day. I've found it to be quite comfortable and will be bringing on my next Camino - Natori Cotton Underwire Sports Bra. You can buy it in Amazon and I've also found them at Nordstrom Rack. Depending where you buy it...
On the Camino Frances, I had blisters on almost every toe. The next year I wore Injinji toe socks and wool socks over them (and different shoes) and had no problems with blisters.
I took a $100 Canon Powershot. It was light weight and had a view finder ( handy to have on sunny days). I was very happy with the pictures I took and I took lots. Since I could carry it in my pocket, it was handy whenever I wanted to take a shot.
