US International Phone plan or Spanish SIM card while on the Camino?
I also have Verizon & have used their intl plan on Portuguese & Frances caminos. It worked well for me. Maybe not the least expensive option but easy. I only got kicked over to 3G data a couple times - didn’t love that when it occurred.- peregrinaTrish

Sandals vs. flip flops.
A second for Oofoos! Love them. Super comfy & weigh only 8.5 oz. They saved me after a really bad case of plantar fasciitis. A stupid washing thing..
