My feet would overheat with that much sock. I wore well-fitted Merrel’s (Moab 2) and even found the merino socks a bit warm and wore thinner socks for more room again when my feet weee hot and swelled. * I did re-adjust me feet in the shoes and re-tied my laces before any descent, so there was...- philmickm

I bought a coda phone SIM card in Barcelona and headed off to SJPDP in 2018. It showed no life til I crossed the border back into Spain, then worked perfectly (til I forgot to top it up🙄) Buen Camino- philmickm

I bought a sim in the Barcelona airport terminal on arrival. No problem, except the wait in the queue. The only problem I did have was when I forgot to top it up half way across Spain and I needed my pin, which I’d lost sight of.
