    It’s unfortunate that you have not understood that the Camino has seen many people walk it for over a thousand years. Some of them are/were sick. If you needed a vacation then go to Hawaii.

    The doctor should be able to give you a note regarding the brace. My wife had a hip implant that sets off the airport alarms and carries a special medical card showing that she has an implant.

    Oh geeze, all I meant that there are certain things one must accept when doing anything worthwhile--if you walk far you might get blisters, if sleep in a dorm you might hear snores--a person takes a chance of being inconvenienced when choosing certain undertakings and so all I was meaning to say...

    I suppose a snorer with apnea could carry a cpap machine--but then them might draw criticism for carrying the extra weight or for the noise the machine makes...you can satisfy half of the people half of the time...now how does it go? ;)
