    Make the sticks as small as possible, mine became half in size, attach to the rucksack, and have the rucksack wrapped and send all through as your luggage.

    I loved the albergue at Ponte Ferreira. I enjoyed sitting outside having lunch hearing the stream, and then washing my clothes in the stream. The meal was wonderful plus the bar service after, with the liqueur.

    I hope to start from Oviedo on 26 May. I intend walking under 20kms per day. I went to http://www.urcamino.com/ to help with the planning. I have the Cicerone book and have ordered the CSJ book. I am currently walking 5kms every day and usually 15-20 on a Sunday. When are you starting?
