A question about booking ahead on the Le Puy without a phone...
If you can walk with a phone and a local sim with data it does make life much easier on the Le Puy route. I walked Le Puy to Burgos last July and the route is very quiet once past the Aubrac. Rome2rio is good but it does not cover train strike days!! I am in the same situation for Leon to Le Puy on the 22June which is a train strike day. No Blabla car availability posted on those days nor can I find a bus that will not also be affected by the strike. Would very much like to hear from...- Steven B

Le Puy in JUNE...question.
Thanks all for the info. I will be starting from Ley Puy on the 22 Jun to SJPDP. Did the Frances from SJPDP in Sep 16 and took a light sleeping bag and silk liner. Just used the liner most of the time however did need the sleeping bag a few times. Not taking a sleeping bag on the Le Puy route...- Steven B
