Booking ahead
Just finished walking a stage from le puy. You definitely had to book ahead. An American guy had to walk two hours in the snow to the next gite as they were booked!- lynmclean

If you are looking for something up market ... I stayed at hotel du parc. They have a great restaurant apparently ... Unfortunately it was closed the nights I was there ... Sunday and Monday. Lovely staff and good breakfast.- lynmclean
