    SJ... my understanding after reading Ivar's post is that the credential HAS to be issued at the Cathedral in Santiago. If that's the case...     Thank you, Ivar. I was told the new office will also have a chapel where one can pray (or get married if you want to !!!!). I thought its a good idea. Can't wait to see it in 2 days time. Buen Camino :) and Merry Christmas. May the Prince of Peace live in your homes and your hearts

    SY.... with respect... are you sure the indulgence is for ALL pilgrims and visitors?? I read in one of the many Jubilee Year website the specific mention of "catholics". But, IMHO, its all a matter of FAITH. :)

    Great idea JohnnieWalker.... the opening and staffing some churches along the Camino Frances. I felt quite disappointed a few times when I was told there was no evening mass because "there was no priest available".
