Yes I was very moved when I visited. There were several Mexican American families praying. Like many shrines, people place photos and objects related to their prayers. April 2018 stumbled upon lovely shrine at Chimayo New Mexico, USA. Is there a pilgrimage to this shrine? At the shrine I read that servicemen returning from prisoner of war camps made a pilgrimage to Chimayo after WWII. Thanks Ted Rzepski, Connecticut- Opa Theo

We arrived in Santiago del Compostela 10/5/18. We didn't want to go home. We kept our daily mileage to about 12 miles. We underestimated our ability. We trained in local forests and on treadmills.
