My grand daughter and I are flying into Madrid on March 22 and plan on leaving Seville the following morning. We won't go too far as we are scheduled to be in London on April 8 and then in SJPP on April 13 for a go at the CF.

I should only be on the calendar for March 23. Don't know what I did wrong to put myself on twice.

Can someone give me precise instructions on exactly where to go to catch a train to Sevilla from the Madrid airport?

Here's what I did a few days ago...

Followed the Metro signs upon arrival, which took me to the Metro station at T2, where I learned that it was closed for renovations. Went outside and asked how to get to Atocha station. (There will be others in the same situation.) Took the bus to Puerta de Atocha (last stop). It cost €5. The bus lets you out at the back of the station, and when you walk inside, you are right where you need to be - Primer Piso. There's a big board showing all the trains. You watch the smaller monitors until your train's platform is posted (maybe 20 minutes before departure). There is a ticket purchase office there too.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Thank you so much!!

@C clearly , looking at rome2rio and at Renfre and still confused. Do I go out of terminal 2 or terminal 4?

Because of the closure are we having to take a bus part way and then the train?

@cher99840 I love your style of travel planning

Depending on which terminal you are landing at - such information would be helpful - use the airport bus to get to T4 - or don't if you are already there - ; take the Cercanias train to Atocha; catch train to Seville. Enjoy!

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
